New Chapter:
I’m really not sure how much I’ll have to say this time, but we’ll see how it goes.
I start Medicine on Friday, had a Fresher’s Camp over the weekend, on Motutapu Island, in the middle of Auckland harbour.
Sun, sand, meeting new people. Well the last one at least, sadly it poured down with rain the whole time. Still it was good to meet a good chunk of the 179 people I am going to be spending the rest of the year with, maybe 5.
I can’t exactly say I was on form, I seemed to lose the power of speech for a large chunk of the camp, too many other things to think about. But it’s all good, there’s plenty of time to make it up.
I still have nowhere to live in Auckland, so it looks like I’ll be crashing at my Alison & Ian’s place for a couple of weeks, I’m sure they won’t notice an extra person wandering around.
Well I have a large amount of paperwork and phonecalls to make to try and get myself some money loaned from the government before next week so that’s all for now.
